I have really done my research - total Nerd Mode engaged - and today I spent the morning at Manny’s in Fortitude Valley availing myself of their professional advice. It’s actually unbelievable the technology that is available and how small and unobtrusive equipment is today and really user friendly. It does help that my Husband is a Muso so if worst comes to worst he helps me get my head around things!

I left with a Rode Wireless Go II Compact Wireless System, Go Interview Wireless Mic, Lavalier GO (Lapel Mic) and also Sennhauser E835S Dynamic Wired Mic as a back up mic.

It is super important to me to plan for contingencies that may occur on the day - my BOSE PA runs off mains and ALSO rechargeable lithium battery power and I come equipped with both wired and wireless microphones. The Audio systems are also rechargeable and a full charge lasts for 7 hours!
